How does it work?
It is often difficult to know which way to turn when we are experiencing discomfort. We will work with you to suggest a particular route.
Unless you have a preference for a particular practitioner or coach from our practice we will normally offer an assessment. This can either be a 15-20 min assessment over the phone with an assessor or a more in depth assessment session in person. In person is charged as an assessment session.
Our assessors complete a psychological interview as each of our practitioners and coaches has a different way of working, and the assessment will allow us to begin to match you with the right person for the issues that you are currently facing.
Once you have a completed the assessment we will recommend a treatment plan designed for you, and we will discuss the pathway in more detail. Our admin team will then get in touch to complete any remaining practical questions and to arrange your session.
Fees
Neu Practice offer competitive fees for our highly experienced practitioners. These are dependent on which route is taken.
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in duration. However, please be advised that some couples sessions are double sessions.
We offer consultations and therapy sessions in London, Bournemouth, New Forest and Online.
Online sessions are available via Skype, FaceTime, or other online portals. Please check with the Admin team for accessibility and online requirements.

How are fees paid?
Fees are paid at the time or in advance of the session. The admin team will request holding details to arrange your appointment but you will only be charged at the time of the session. Any subsequent fees are organised with the admin team when appointments are made. All receipts are sent via email if requested.
The Sessions
Your first session with your chosen practitioner or coach is largely getting to know each other and outlining a plan. Any subsequent plans or appointments will be discussed and made at this stage, this is all confirmed by the admin team via email.
What happens if I want to cancel or change plans?
If you cancel a session with less than 7 days notice we charge the full fee for the missed session. However, it’s worth asking your practitioner or coach if they can offer you a different time, or a session via phone or online.
If your sessions are covered by health insurance the same cancellation apply. You are personally responsible for these charges unless your insurance provider agrees to pay.
If you decide to change route within our practice. For example, you choose to move to a workshop instead of continuing individual therapy, we request that we are given 7 days notice via email to adjust any arrangements. Workshop cancellations require more cancellation notice but you will be given that information at the time of booking.
Can you write reports for my insurance company?
Yes we can write reports if your practitioner or coach is covered by your insurance company. This is charged but will be discussed with you by your practitioner. Full details can also be received from the admin team.
